Although  the map remains mostly uncovered, there are few researchers who explored and studied the habitat and species of the land and made scientific recordings on them. 
The most well known being Doc (Yes, their name is Doc ) , who studied mostly studied the westlands; including Potosi.
From his records, it is said that he grew up on the northeast parts of our land in a monastery of green grass blade,  and moved on to the small city-state of titi where  he became a doctor.
After this, he went on to explore el Potosi and safely came back home with his findings.

Due to the war and contamination,  specimens observed on the east parts of our map are often uncanny and their  molecular make up  and habits are extraordinary.
We call these specimens the neo-specs and know very little of them.
Among the neo-specs, some researchers found organisms that seems to have it's origin outside of our planet, such as M-22, a rabbit like creature of the worm hole.
Although uncertain,  there are chimera like organisms that carry the genetic of both extra-terrestrial organism, as well as our  own. We call these the inter-terrestrial chimeras or ITC for short.
